It was built by Monsignor Gonzáles y Calixto initiative in 1990, this church maintains an eclectic structure, with a neo-Gothic style of Romanesque origin, similar to other colonial structures of the White City,
Its construction is made of carved stone from the quarries of Tahuando; boulder; brick; adobe and the roof was covered with tile.
In the main altar we find the image of Christ Crucified, surrounded by the archangels San Miguel and San Rafael. Other works of art that can be appreciated in its interior are the images of Santa Marianita and Santa Teresa de Jesus, of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, San Pablo and San Pedro.
It was rebuilt in 2019, after a collapse of its roof at the end of 2016.
