The Green Cross is located in one of the most traditional places of the city, nowadays is the intersection of Teodoro Gomez and El Retorno Avenues. According to stories from grandmothers, in that place where the cross was built, there were continuous appears of a green magical creature to its inhabitants, who use to going to pray at the church. For this reason, people decided to build a big green cross and never that spirit reappeared.
