The Angaraloma dome is a crater with a funnel that was formed by an internal explosion of the Imbabura volcano throwing incandescent rocks and viscous lava, which due to its viscosity, the lava flows slowly through the crater and forms a mound that hardens on contact with air and prevents the exit of gases, which is called lava dome.
