NOGADAS

Ibarreños sweets

With more than a hundred years of tradition, nogadas are traditional sweet, of pleasant taste and a soft and hard texture at the same time, very attractive due to the combination of colors and the pieces of tocte (walnut) that adorn this delicacy. They are packed in round boxes made of willow wood of different sizes and shapes.

Nowadays there is a diversity of flavors: blackberry, panela, vanilla, passion fruit and chocolate. In the city of Ibarra they are sold in La Merced park and Olmedo street.
