Cream ice cream of Caranqui is a gastronomic tradition in this urban parish located at south of Ibarra. With more than 35 years of tradition, the ice creams are made with fresh fruits and there is a variety of 14 flavors. 

On weekends, locals and visitors come to the Caranqui park, where small stores sell a variety of ice cream and milk bread.
