HELADOS Y LICOR DE OVO

In the parish of Ambuquí, located 45 minutes from the city of Ibarra, there are several places int he central park, where ovo ice cream is sold. This ice cream has more than ten years of tradition.

The main ingredient is the ovo, a yellowish exotic fruit and very aromatic sweet and sour juice, from which the raw material for ice cream and other products such as wine and jam is obtained.
