The “Sectoral Master Plan for Sustainable Tourism of the Ibarra Canton” is born as a need to update current tourism planning as a result
of world events due to the global pandemic Covid-19 that has paralyzed tourist activities, in which propose mitigation strategies caused by this socio-economic impact economic and it is the right time to co-create and rethink the programs and projects for the sake of tourism development in Ibarra.
